Home made peanut butter and chocolate bars!
I was having a sweet craving and decided to try out this new and super easy recipe.
I got baking molds the other day and they have been so fun to play around with. You can bake with them or throw them in the freezer for fun shaped dessert.
These peanut butter chocolate bars are vegan, gluten free, and are topped with shredded walnuts.
INGREDIENTS (subject to change depending on how you are making these. These ingredients are for my mold that had 8 bars)
•Nut butter of your choice
•6 tablespoons melted coconut oil
•1/3 cup cacao powder
•3-4 tablespoons maple syrup
•Dash of salt
👉🏼In your mold, layer the peanut butter and pop in the freezer.
👉🏼 In a double boiler, melt the coconut oil, cacao, and maple syrup. Add salt and whisk. Let cool and put in the freezer for 5 minutes to speed this process up.
👉🏼Layer the chocolate on top of the nut butter and freeze over night.
👉🏼Serve with shredded walnuts or coconut flakes!
